Lillian’s Makeup Routine

I’m going walk you through my makeup routine so you can see what I use on a daily basis.

I target my areas that I think are naturally darker or red. I use a Laura Geller Real deal concealer with the bare minerals concealer brush. Sometimes I also highlight my nose bridge with this because it is just a slightly lighter shade than my a natural skin color. Then I use Tropic Beauty Booster as a foundation in the summertime because it’s really light, it feels really good on my skin and it’s very natural; this product is amazing. (In the winter time I use a different product by Estee Lauder.)

Now I’m going to move onto contouring. I use a Maybelline contour sculpt pad with my Bare Minerals Flawless Face brush, targeting under my cheeks and chin area, jaw line, and then at the top of my hairline. Then I’m going to add the highlighting with the same brush onto the tops of my cheeks, my forehead, my nose bridge, and my chin. I’m just going to finish it up with a little bit of a blush, just dabbing it onto the apples of my cheeks. I’m going to use a brow definer which is an eyebrow pencil to blend it in with a little mascara sample brush. (The pencil I’m using is by Avon, but I usually use an Ulta one which I can’t get U.K.)

A Japonesque Power Curler is necessary for my very straight, short lashes. If I’m going to put any mascara on, I have to curl my lashes first. Now with the covergirl LashBlast lash I always use the waterproof version and I really like it because it doesn’t smear my bottom lid like a lot of other mascaras do, and it stays on really well. I am still searching for a more natural beauty solution for my mascara, however. Burt’s Bees is my favorite lip thing and I use the chapstick like every morning and every night. If I want some color on my lips I use the lip shimmer tinted lip balm and it’s amazing, especially if I’m making videos. I use Wet N Wild H2O Proof eyeliner and I absolutely love it. It stays in place, it looks really sharp, and I don’t have to smudge it in or anything. I don’t wear any eye shadow so it’s really important for my video making that I use eyeliner or else I feel like you really can’t see my eyes.

That’s all! If you guys have any questions, leave me a comment below and I’ll try to address it. And just to reminder you, I don’t wear makeup every day but when I do wear makeup, it takes me five to ten minutes to put it on; I fit everything in a small little pouch. Just make sure that you upkeep your items. Your brushes should be cleansed at least once a month, and your mascara [brush] should be cleaned once a week as well.
